I'm still stunned but utterly delighted to have been awarded Mumpreneur of the year at the fiercely contested Kent Women in Business Awards (KWIB) on Thursday.

I attended the Kent Women in Business Awards partly because I was a finalist but mainly because it was a great opportunity to meet like minded business women and to hear some inspirational speakers. I did not expect to win at all. Hearing my name called out was a heart stopping moment, partly because I hadn't prepared a speech but also because I couldn't quite believe it.

It is a genuine honour to accept the award of Mumpreneur of the year. The journey I have been on with Little Big Sports whilst raising two young children has been incredible and the recognition further validates that the hard work and dedication has all been worth it.
