The Feed Buddy Pro is the next generation advancement of the best selling Feed Buddy machine.
The Feed Buddy Pro provides accurate feeds of 10m as opposed to the 3 to 4m of the Feed Buddy. It also is more powerful with a speed of up to 35mph. This coupled with the ability of the ball to swing and seam means the Feed Buddy Pro allows cricketers of all ages and abilities to hone their batting skills. It is also brilliant for fielding and wicket keeping practice.
A camera tripod or something similar (not included) can be screwed into the base of the machine to elevate the Feed Buddy Pro in order to change the delivery angle and allow better practice of back foot shots.
A ball is released every 5 seconds from the automatic feeder which has a capacity of 10 balls. It is only compatible with the red feed buddy balls which can be purchased at checkout.
It is fully portable as it is mains or battery powered.
Delivery is free of charge.
Good
This is a great piece of sporting equipment!
Per my review on the SP6 net, my son bought these two together from LittleBigSports (very helpful and excellent service).
This bowling machine is brilliant - it can swing and spin the ball a bit and is surprisingly fast - 2 speeds with various angles to bowl from. It will bowl a half-decent ball straight off the ground or you can put it on a tripod. We just propped on a set of steps to add a bit of height and used it on the patio.
When used with a net as well, you can have hours of fun just driving and smashing the ball all over the place. It spits out a ball every 5 seconds or so.
It's probably worth buying 12 balls - you need to use their balls which are a hard plastic with decent bounce, or I suspect you could use tennis balls if you're happy with a bit more bounce. The spiral holds 10 balls but the first one delivered is always slightly slow as the two motors are working their way up to full speed, hence why worth investing in a few more so you get a bit of rhythm going.
Enjoy!!
